Title:  Manufacturing Manager of Quality
Location:  Bridgewater, NJ

Compensation:  $100,000.00 to $130,000.00 per Year

Description:  A major manufacturing company, located near Bridgewater, NJ is seeking a Manufacturing Manager of Quality. Responsibilities:
  • Assume full management responsibility for the entire quality function within the organization, setting quality standards for the industrial and medical divisions
  • Ensure seamless quality assurance function through the entire manufacturing process from quality control inspection of incoming raw materials through shipping of finished productions
  • Analyze quality problem areas, develop cost effective, complete solutions, and ensure the full implementation of corrective actions
  • Identify and eliminate causes of high cost quality failures whether they are material process problems causing excess scrap or part specification variances resulting in substantial rework and higher labor cost
  • Work with customers on an ongoing basis, responding to inquiries, and rapidly identifying and correcting root causes of their problems
  • Identify key material variables within the manufacturing process and focus quality efforts on control of these variables
  • Ensure the quality control guidelines are effectively integrated into the manufacturing process so as to maintain production schedules and reduce cycle times
Requirements:  Qualified individuals should have 15+ years of quality management experience in a contract manufacturing job shop and a Bachelor's degree in Engineering with professional Quality Certification (C.Q.E. or others are preferred). Working knowledge of ISO9001/QS9000 is required. Additional skills, experience, and knowledge required to be considered for this position include:
