| Description: A rapidly growing, publicly held, healthcare IT company, based in Long Island, NY, is seeking a QA Manager. The QA Manager will be responsible for all aspects of EHR testing and software certification. This individual will lead and participate in the continued enhancement of our clinical testing procedures across all EHR products in the company portfolio. Experience managing projects, healthcare software quality assurance, testing procedures, and software development life cycle is required. This individual must have a strong clinical background and familiarity with ambulatory clinical workflow, medications, and procedures and either have extensive software test experience with medical procedures or other relevant experience. Develop clinician-focused procedural test cases. Develop step-by-step testing instructions. Delegate assignments to QA Analysts on testing and documentation of test results. Manage team of QA Analysts in U.S. and India. Verify completion of assignments. Analyze specifications and write test cases. Train staff on test case procedures. Assist with department planning and organization. Assist with making decisions regarding release status.

Requirements: QA Management Qualifications:
- Healthcare Informatics experience
- Quality Assurance testing expertise
- Knowledge of medical billing (CPT codes, ICD-9 codes, etc.)
- Strong understanding and knowledge of medical terminology
- Strong understanding and knowledge of the healthcare industry and clinical workflows
- Relational database knowledge
- Strong leadership, project management, written, and oral communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Possess strong multi-tasking and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work well independently as well as in a team environment
- Customer service oriented
- Maintain a positive attitude and professional demeanor
- BS degree in Business Management, Computer Science, Healthcare Informatics, or related field
