| Description: Join this technology leading company located in the Boston suburbs as the Sr. Manager of the Field Engineering team for these complex electo-mechanical systems. Play a key role in the success of the company. Bring significant Managerial expertise and introduce new methods and processes. US Citizen is required. This person will be responsible for implementing a major strategy change in worldwide field engineering. Activities include hiring and managing a 40+ person Field Engineer team, and overseeing maintenance of installed equipment and support for third party maintenance providers. This person ensures that the Field Engineering organization provides the highest level of customer service in a cost effective manner. This person will manage a group of Field Engineers, including hiring for future growth. Approximately 30% travel and some night/weekend work are expected due to the 24x7 nature of the operation.

Requirements: Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous supervisory experience managing field engineering for complex electro-mechanical systems such as medical MRI systems or semiconductor manufacturing systems
- Experience managing a large team of field employees is required
- Demonstrated experience in improving metrics
- Previous experience managing third party contracts
- Experience with third party telephone support
- Familiarization with asset management software
- Basic electro-mechanical technical knowledge
- Previous budgeting experience
- College degree required
- Prior experience with US government contracts
